AMC Foundation
The Adirondack Medical Center Foundation was established in 1997
as the fundraising arm of the Adirondack Medical Center.
It is an integral part of health care delivery
to the high peaks region of the Adirondacks.
MISSION
Working within our community
to expand voluntary giving and support to the
Adirondack Medical Center,
to enable and ensure AMC
delivers excellent health care and
enhances the wellness of our community.
WHY GIVE?
Not-for-profit hospitals seek community assistance in the form of volunteer time and financial support to meet needs that are not covered by reimbursement.
Contributions ensure the development, advancement and preservation of the best health care services possible for residents and visitors of the greater Tri-Lakes region.
As directed by its Articles of Incorporation, the AMC Foundation raises funds for the exclusive use of Adirondack Medical Center.
Gifts to the Adirondack Medical Center Foundation provide financial assistance to sustain AMC's high quality of care and support clinical programs and services, community health and wellness programs, medical and professional health care education, renovation of hospital buildings and capital expenditures, patient assistance through charity care, and make possible the purchase of life saving equipment.
