Adirondack Health Foundation
The Adirondack Health Foundation was established in 1997
as the fundraising arm of Adirondack Health.
It is an integral part of health care delivery
to the high peaks region of the Adirondacks.
MISSION
Working within our community
to expand voluntary giving and support to the
Adirondack Health,
to enable and ensure
Adirondack Health
delivers excellent health care and
enhances the wellness of our community.
WHY GIVE?
Not-for-profit hospitals seek community assistance in the form of volunteer time and financial support to meet needs that are not covered by reimbursement.
Contributions ensure the development, advancement and preservation of the best health care services possible for residents and visitors of the greater Tri-Lakes region.
As directed by its Articles of Incorporation, the Adirondack Health Foundation raises funds for the exclusive use of Adirondack Health.
Gifts to the Adirondack Health Foundation provide financial assistance to sustain Adirondack Health's high quality of care and support clinical programs and services, community health and wellness programs, medical and professional health care education, renovation of Adirondack Health facilities and capital expenditures, patient assistance through charity care, and make possible the purchase of life saving equipment.

MAKING A GIFT
Gifts of all sizes are deeply appreciated, and will be invested wisely. Each gift is used to improve patient care where the need is greatest or to maintain the excellence of a specific program or service.
Gifts can also be made to the Adirondack Health Foundation's Endowment. The Foundation oversees the investment of the endowment and only the income from the fund is spent on designated purposes.
Gifts may be cash donations, credit card, highly appreciated stock or real property and may be made in honor or memory of a loved one. The Foundation staff is available to answer questions to facilitate transfers and to provide information on charitable trusts and other avenues of giving.
