Donation from 'Art in Public Spaces'

August 27th, 2006

SARANAC LAKE - As part of the ongoing "Art in Public Spaces" program, Henry Parnass donated artwork to be hung on the wall near the Medical Imaging department at Adirondack Medical Center. Mr. Parnass created the program in memory of his wife, Barbara, who was a strong local supporter of the arts and a good friend of AMC. This year, a water-color painting entitled "Nature's Cathedral," by Ken Wiley, was donated to the medical center. It is the third such painting donated to AMC through the "Art in Public Spaces" program. Mr. Wiley, left, presented the painting to Cheryl Breen Randall, Executive Director of the AMC Foundation and Community Relations, center, along with Mr. Parnass, right.
