Coaching Program Offered for Endurance Athletes, Active People

December 27th, 2010

SARANAC LAKE - For many endurance athletes, the coordination of training, nutrition, motivation and schedules can be very challenging.

Knowing when to push harder and when to rest, identifying weaknesses and mobility issues, and maintaining a focus for each workout can become overwhelming for many active people.  However, endurance athletes and active people can more effectively balance these factors with a local coach who is an Exercise Physiologist or Certified Athletic Trainer.  The second set of eyes a coach provides can make a difference in the effectiveness of an athlete's training.

The Coaching Program offered by the Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Department at Adirondack Medical Center can help design a training regimen to balance all of  the components of athleticism in a way that meets the individual needs of each athlete.
