Bob Peck Earns ABCD Award at AMC

May 8th, 2008

Bob Peck, who works in Facility Services for AMC-Uihlein in Lake Placid, was named an ABCD recipient for the month of April.
The program, known as ABCD, stands for “Above & Beyond the Call of Duty.”
The ABCD Award is presented to AMC employees who provide exemplary services or care that is outside of their job requirements and reflects positively on them, their field of practice, community and AMC.
In a certificate of appreciation, it was pointed out that Bob always stops periodically throughout the day to see if extra help is needed on any projects.  Any item in need of repair, particularly those personal items for residents, has been taken care of expeditiously and efficiently.  Bob has done all of this without a second thought and always with a smile on his face.  So it should come as no surprise to anyone that he consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty.
In addition to a certificate of appreciation, Bob was given a $50 gift certificate. Adirondack Medical Center will announce ABCD winners on a monthly basis.
