Adirondack Health expands hours at its community health centers

SARANAC LAKE - Adirondack Health is expanding the hours at its community health centers in Keene, Lake Placid and Tupper Lake to better serve the needs of Tri-Lakes residents and visitors.

Adirondack Health has recruited new medical staff in response to community input, and will continue those efforts to meet the primary care needs of the Tri-Lakes region.  The additional staff has resulted in expanded services at the Mountain Health Center in Keene to five days a week, and the addition of early evening hours two nights a week at both the Lake Placid and Tupper Lake Health centers.  In addition, the Tupper Lake Health Center will accept appointments on Saturdays.

Following are the new office hours at the community health centers:

Mountain Health Center (Keene):                            Monday to Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lake Placid Health Center:                                        Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

                                                                                         Tuesday, Thursday; 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Tupper Lake Health Center:                                      Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

                                                                                         Monday, Wednesday; 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

                                                                                         Saturday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
