SARANAC LAKE - Runners take your mark!

The weekly Saranac Lake Fun Runs sponsored by Adirondack Health are a fun, family-oriented summer tradition that kicks off on June 21.

The Fun Run takes place Thursdays through Aug. 23, beginning with the children's run at 6 p.m.  The event is free to the public and features quarter mile, one-half mile and one mile youth races as well as two mile to four and one-half mile adult races.  The fun runs cater to runners of all abilities and to individuals who are interested in committing to a healthier lifestyle.

Sign up occurs each evening at the Riverside Park bandshell located across the street from Little Italy Pizzeria.  Those volunteering their time to help out with the Fun Run should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
