AMC Welcomes First Baby of 2008

January 1st, 2008

SARANAC LAKE - Adirondack Medical Center welcomed the first baby of 2008 at 3:46 p.m. on January 1.
Logan Michael Casey was born to parents Tammy and Shawn Casey, of Lake Placid. Logan weighed in at 9 pounds, one-half ounce, and measured 21 inches long. He is the couple's first child.
To mark the occasion, AMC Volunteer Louise Harris presented a gift basket containing stuffed animals, baby bib, blanket, and bank, as well as lotion, lip balm and coffee cup for mom. This is the third consecutive year Louise has presented the gift basket to the first baby of the year, on behalf of the hospital and AMC's volunteers.
