AMC Welcomes Dr. Majeed Siddiqui

    SARANAC LAKE – Adirondack Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of Majeed Siddiqui, M.D., to its Medical Staff.
    Dr. Siddiqui (pronounced Sid-dee-kee) will be practicing in AMC’s primary care clinics in Lake Placid and Tupper Lake.  He brings with him an extensive background in both the clinical and educational settings.
    “Dr. Siddiqui possesses such broad and far-reaching medical knowledge, and equally important is his warmth and ability to connect with people on a personal level,” said Chandler Ralph, AMC President and CEO.  “He is an excellent addition to our talented medical staff.”
    His most recent position was as a Professor of Physiology teaching medical students at Pennsylvania State University in Pittsburgh, Penn.  Prior to that, for several years Dr. Siddiqui practiced medicine at hospitals in the more rural regions of Australia.  He has extensive background in treating all age groups from a variety of backgrounds.  In addition, he has an extensive post-graduate training and work experience in the top teaching hospitals of Australia and England. 
    He is board certified in Family Medicine and Clinical Neurology in Australia and England, and is board eligible for Family Medicine in New York State. 
    Dr. Siddiqui’s hobbies and interests include swimming, table tennis, running, jogging, cycling, and was a disc jockey with All India Radio.  He resides with his wife and daughter in Lake Placid, and also has an adult son who is a pharmacist.
