AMC Honors Over 200 Employees for Years of Service

SARANAC LAKE – Over 200 employees of Adirondack Medical Center were honored for their years of service as part of National Health Care Week Celebration held May 11 to 17.
The reception was held at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid. Each of the recognized employees received a certificate for years of service ranging from five to 40. Sue Dwyer and Mary Mayberry also received a hand-crafted Adirondack Medical Center rocking chair for their forty years of service while Marilyn Corson, Patricia Harrington, Bonnie Maher, Lorraine McCulley, Ann McLean and Claudia Smith received an Adirondack chair and ottoman for their 35 years of service. Both gifts signify the hard work and dedication that these employees have put into providing health care for our community.
According to Mike Lee, Vice President of Human Resources, “The evening of the Service Award Recognition Program was truly amazing; the staff interactions during the social hour and the heart-felt speeches given by the managers about the employees were touching. It is an honor and privilege for us to serve such a fantastic and dedicated group of employees.”
In addition to hospitals in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, AMC operates health centers in Keene, Lake Placid and Tupper Lake, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Lake Placid and Tupper Lake.
