AMC Foundation Extends Grant Application Deadline

SARANAC LAKE - The application deadline for non-profits seeking grants from the Adirondack Medical Center Foundation has been extended to July 15.

The AMC Foundation has supported efforts to enhance community wellness for several years, and past grant awards have supported arts in health care, breast cancer awareness, diabetes self-management education, boating safety, and North Country Life Flight.

To the extent that funds are available, the AMC Foundation awards annually up to $50,000 in grants to not-for-profit organizations within the Medical Center's primary and secondary service area.  Grants awarded provide financial support to community projects and services that will enhance community wellness and wellness education, and are consistent with the Medical Center's mission, vision and strategic initiatives.  Additionally, grants may be awarded to Adirondack Medical Center Departments for programs not funded through AMC's operational budget and where outside funding is not available.
