AMC Employees Celebrated for Years of Service

SARANAC LAKE - Nearly 108 employees of Adirondack Medical Center were lauded for their years of service as part of National Health Care Week celebrations held during the week of May 9.

At an evening reception held at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid each staff member was recognized and received a certificate for years of services ranging from five to 40.  Sherman Beaudette, Philip Griffin and Elizabeth Martin were the evening's longevity leaders, and each received a hand-crafted Adirondack Medical Center rocking chair for their 40 years of service, while Patricia Boyle, Barbara Fisher, Peter Henry and Joannie Keith each received an Adirondack chair and ottoman for their 35 years of service.  The gifts are tokens of appreciation for the hard work and dedication these employees bring to the job each and every day at AMC, serving as both role models for their colleagues and the community.

In addition to hospitals in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, AMC operates health centers in Keene, Lake Placid and Tupper Lake, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Lake Placid and Tupper Lake.
