AMC Announces Mobile Dental Clinic Schedule for 2010

SARANAC LAKE - Building on the success of its inaugural year, the Mobile Dental Clinic operated by Adirondack Medical Center is adding two communities to be served in the Tri-Lakes region.

In addition to AuSable Forks, Keene, Tupper Lake and Vermontville, the AMC Mobile Dental Clinic will be making stops in Indian Lake and Long Lake during the months of May to October.

The concept behind the "clinic on wheels" is to serve residents of outlying communities where limited resources and travel are obstacles for receiving timely dental care.  The Mobile Dental Clinic is a retro-fitted recreational vehicle fully registered, licensed and insured in New York State, as well as certified to provide dental care by the New York State Department of Health.  Most insurances are accepted, including Medicaid.  Self-pay patients are welcome as well.

The Mobile Dental Clinic will operate from May to October, and care will be provided on a shared basis by AMC's two dentists: Peter Rosenberger, D.M.D., and Alphonso Edgecombe, D.D.S.
