Billing

Your bill will be sent to your insurance company when you leave the hospital. You are responsible for payment of any co-pays or deductibles. You will be sent a statement for any balance due.

You may receive more than one bill for services performed at the hospital. If you have any questions or need information about your bill, please call the number listed on your statement.

If you cannot pay your bill, AMC has credit counselors to help you. E-mail our billing office at rnels@amcCares.org or call 897-2217 or 2318 for more information.

Financial Assistance

Adirondack Medical Center is proud of its mission to provide quality care to all those who need it.  If you do not have health insurance and worry you may not be able to pay for your care in full, we may be able to help.

Adirondack Medical Center provides financial aid to patients based on their income and needs.   In addition, we may be able to help you get free- or low-cost health insurance. 

It is important that you let us know if you will have difficulty paying your bill so we can be sure that your unpaid claims do not continue on through the collections process.
