Adirondack Motorcycle Cruise

SARANAC LAKE - The Adirondack Medical Center Foundation is revving up for the inaugural edition of the Adirondack Motorcycle Cruise to be held on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010.

The official ride start will depart from Mount Pisgah in Saranac Lake at 11 a.m. and end at the Lake Placid Horseshow Grounds at roughly 2 p.m. for a BBQ celebration.  The BBQ celebration is open to non-riding participants as well.  There will be a 50/50 raffle, auction, live entertainment and fireworks if conditions allow.

The pre-registration donation is $20 per rider and $15 for a passenger.  The registration donation the day of the ride is $25 per rider and $15 per passenger.  Those wishing to attend just the BBQ can do so for a donation of $25.  The menu includes pulled pork, BBQ chicken, baked beans, coleslaw and rolls.

There is also a raffle being held in conjunction with the ride for a Harley Davidson Fat Bob motorcycle.  Tickets are $25 each for five for $100.

All proceeds, less prizes and expenses, benefit Adirondack Medical Center and upgrades and renovations to the Angiography Suite in the Medical Imaging Department.
