Adirondack Health Turkey Trot

Thursday, Nov. 22nd - This flat 5K walk/run starts at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22 at the Speed Skating Oval in Lake Placid, goes around Mirror Lake and ends back at the oval. Proceeds from the event will benefit local food pantries and Adirondack Health's Fit For Life Program.

Participants can pre-register by Nov. 19 for $25 on active.com. Please bring 3 nonperishable food items on the day of the race to donate to the local food pantries. Race day registration costs $30 and begins at 6:30 a.m. and closes promptly at 7:30 a.m. Bring three non-perishable food items on the day of the race to receive a $5 reduction on the cost of registration. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third overall male and female finishers. There are additional prizes for anyone who can "stuff the turkey" or, in other words, beat the mystery Turkey runner to the finish line.
