AMC at Lake Placid

Located at the site of the former Placid Memorial Hospital, Adirondack Health @ Lake Placid offers a full range of outpatient services including Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Medical Imaging and Laboratory Services.

Adirondack Health @ Lake Placid also has a 24-hour Emergency Department, staffed with physician's assistants and registered nurses.

Lake Placid Health Center is open Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and can be reached by calling 523-1717. The office is staffed with three physicians, Dr. Woods McCahill Jr., Dr. Elizabeth Bartos, and Dr. Majeed Siddiqui. Also on staff is Family Nurse Practitioner Mary Levitz, FNP, who also sees patients at Lake Placid Health Center.

Adirondack Dental Service, located at Adirondack Health @ Lake Placid, offers dental services for the whole family. The offices of Dr. Peter M. Rosenberger and Dr. Alphonso Edgecombe are open Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Adirondack Dental Service accepts most insurances, including Medicaid.
