Fit for Life

If you are not physically active, a smoker, a diabetic, have high blood pressure, are diagnosed with high cholesterol, or suffer from obesity or depression, then you are a perfect fit.... for Fit for Life.

FIT FOR LIFE will help you better understand your condition, enhance your quality of life, improve your heart's health and it can change your outlook.

JOIN the program with a physician's referral. You may also have to have some tests before you begin for safety reasons. Call our office for help getting a referral. Participants meet 2-3 times a week for about an hour.

EXERCISE is at the heart of our program and includes things like riding a stationary bike, walking on a treadmill, using an arm bike and muscle strengthening exercises. All exercise is done under the close supervision of our Fit for Life team, with the latest in state of the art equipment.

EDUCATION sessions are offered to you and your family, covering topics such as Dietary Management, Medication, Stress Management, Depression, Yoga, the Benefits of Exercise and Risk Factors.

COST of the program is partially covered by a grant. The program is not covered by insurance, but we will help you by making it more affordable.
