Adirondack Medical Center is a full-service facility in the heart of the beautiful Adirondacks of New York. We have a medical staff of 50 physicians, board-certified in 19 specialities.

At our main campus in Saranac Lake, you'll find a full range of surgical and medical services, complimented by laboratory services, medical imaging and a 24-hour emergency department.

AMC also hosts the only Bariatric (Weight-Loss) Surgery Program in northern New York, backed by a team of three physicians and the latest techniques.

In Lake Placid, you'll find a 24-hour Emergency Department and our Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Department, which serve not only Olympic-caliber athletes, but those "weekend warriors" who may have overdone it a little.

Four community health clinics offer "excellent health care close to home," in Lake Placid, Tupper Lake, Keene and Wilmington. Whether you're a visitor or you've lived in the Adirondacks all your life, AMC can help you live a healthier lifestyle, or get you back on your feet after an unexpected illness.
